This position answers incoming telephone calls from an assigned facility, employer or employee.  Collects appropriate data and enters into computer system.  Schedules appointments and services for clients/patients, obtains pre-certifications for necessary procedures and services and ensures accuracy of documentation prior to forwarding to appropriate party.  Assist Team Leader and VP of Support Services with statistic gathering and assists in complying monthly reports.  Assist client physicians and facilities with patient related administrative duties/clinical duties when called upon.

The schedule for this position is as follows:

Saturday-7A-7P-Rotating

Sunday-7A-9p-Rotating

Monday-8AM-5:00PM

Tuesday-8AM-5:00 PM

Wednesday-8AM-5:00PM

Thursday -OFF

Friday-OFF

If Weekend Jane works on Saturday she is going to be off on Sunday, returning to work MondayWednesday to get the remainder of her 40hrs. 

Weekend Jane’s coworker Weekend Sue would be off on Saturday, but scheduled for Sunday also returning to work MondayWednesday to get the remainder of her 40 hrs.

The next weekend they swap days,  Weekend Sue would work on Saturday and be off Sunday.  Weekend Jane would be off Saturday and work Sunday.

Job Requirements

Previous medical assistant, medical office, or case management experience or equivalent preferred

Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications

Ability to solve problems

Excellent communications and customer service skills required

Attention to details and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Prior occupational health or workers compensation experience helpful

Proficient with typing at least 30 WPM accurately

Must be comfortable with taking and making calls your entire shift
